Main Street Biz: Three Republicans lining up to challenge McIntyre

Main Street Biz: Three Republicans are vying for the chance to challenge Congressman Mike McIntyre, a Lumberton Democrat who has represented southeastern North Carolina since 1997.  They are:

• U.S. Army Veteran Will Breazeale, who ran for the seat in 2008;
• Ilario Pantano, a former U.S. Marine who was charged with and later cleared in the murder of two Iraqis; and
• Tim Wilkes, a Brunswick County resident and veteran.

Breazeale, Pantano and Wilkes will face off in the Republican primary on Tuesday, May 4.
