Political Director for North Carolina Republican Senate Caucus Joins Nonpartisan Business Advocacy Organization
RALEIGH, N.C. – Lew Ebert, president and CEO of the North Carolina Chamber, a nonpartisan business advocacy organization, has announced that the organization has named Nathan Babcock as its political director. As of Thursday, April 5, Babcock will oversee the Chamber’s political education program and provide expertise and leadership on areas including political intelligence, candidate recruitment, voter education and grassroots efforts. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a fellow of the Institute of Political Leadership, Babcock served as political director for the North Carolina Republican Senate Caucus prior to joining the Chamber.
“We are pleased to name Nathan as our new political director,” said Ebert. “He will be a valuable asset to our government affairs team as they work strategically to move forward a nonpartisan, pro-business agenda.”
