SHALLOTTE, NC — ATMC has presented $2000 scholarships to four high school seniors in Brunswick and Columbus Counties.
The four recipients are:
- Tanner Duncan, the son of Greg and Wendy Duncan of Tabor City. Tanner plans to attend East Carolina University, where he will major in Engineering.
- William Edwards, the son of Jimi and Cindy Edwards of Shallotte. He plans to attend UNC-Greensboro and major in Secondary Education.
- Christine Guseman, the daughter of David and Dianna Guseman of Southport. She will be attending North Carolina State University and majoring in Engineering.
- Ashley Roberts, the daughter of James and Eva Roberts of Leland. She will be attending UNC-Greensboro, where she plans to major in Elementary Education.
Applicants for the ATMC scholarships were judged on academics, involvement in school activities, community involvement and interviewing skills. Interviews were conducted by representatives from Brunswick Community College.
