ATMC Launches CNN HD

SHALLOTTE, NC – ATMC recently announced the addition of CNN HD (high definition) to the ATMC Digital Cable TV lineup.  CNN HD can be found on digital channel 906 and was one of the most requested new HD channels in a recent survey of high definition customers. “We are very excited to add CNN HD because it allows us to round out our offering of high definition news carriage,” commented Allen Russ, ATMC Chief Executive Officer.  “With the addition of CNN HD, ATMC offers all of the major cable news networks in high definition, including Fox News HD, MSNBC HD and CNBC HD.”  ATMC also provides high definition feeds for the nightly newscasts from NBC, CBS and ABC.

CNN HD stands as a separate high-definition signal offering a programming line-up identical to the CNN standard-definition format. CNN HD produces all of its New York-based programs, select documentaries and special events, including Planet in Peril and presidential debates, in high definition. Other programs featured on CNN HD include American Morning, Lou Dobbs Tonight, Anderson Cooper 360º, Lou Dobbs Weekend, Your $$$$$ and Open House.  CNN HD is available at no extra charge to customers with a high definition digital cable box and the Expanded Basic package.
