January 30, Saturday – Brunswick Stew Cook-Off, 10am-4pm, Rourk Woods in Shallotte. The 2nd Annual Brunswick Stew Cook-Off is a perfect event for the entire family.  Attendees will enjoy a stew cook-off, local crafters, food vendors, beer garden, live entertainment by Jaded Mayberry, and a kid’s area. Saturday, 11:00a – 6:00p & Sunday, 11:00a-4:00P, NH County Senior Resource Center, 2222 South College Road, Wilmington, NC. Sponsored by, VOCAL, Inc. & New Hanover County Senior Resource Center This weekend-long Chocolate Show gets underway on Saturday and continue through Sunday and features samples of chocolate and sweets at the booth’s of the Festival’s 35+ Exhibitors, wine tastings by area wineries and demonstrations by renowned Choclatiers and Chefs. Saturday & Sunday, March 20-21, 2010 — Coastal Living Showcase at the Schwartz Center at Cape Fear Community College.  10am-5pm Saturday, 11am-4pm Sunday. Cost is $4.00 per person.  The Coastal Living Showcase features over 90 vendors showcasing their services and wares.  Great shopping for you and home.  Everything from Jewelry and pottery to Rain Barrel Technology and Hurricane Shutters will be on sale.  Great door prizes and raffles are included as well.
