According to a press release, the patent is recognition of GrowPath’s unique method and system for routing inbound email attachments. Cary-based Dude Solutions Completes Acquisition Of Confirm®: Dude Solutions, a SaaS provider of cloud-based operations management software, backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (together with its affiliates “Clearlake”), recently announced that it has completed the acquisition of Confirm® from Precisely. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Confirm software enables public sector organizations to deliver critical infrastructure services, maximize operational efficiencies and leverage internet of things (“IoT”) technology to unlock smart applications and use cases. According to a press release, the addition of Confirm broadens the Dude Solutions product portfolio serving public sector clients, offering smart city solutions that help organizations implement strategies to extend asset lives, increase citizen responsiveness and optimize mobile workforces. State Employees’ Credit Union Switches to Coinstar Coin Counting: Coinstar, LLC and State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) recently announced plans to install Coinstar kiosks at all 271 SECU locations in North Carolina. According to a press release, SECU selected Coinstar to replace existing coin-sorting equipment after a pilot showed the benefits Coinstar provides. The Coinstar kiosks are easy to use and allow members to conveniently process coins and receive cash on the spot at SECU locations without paying a fee. Coinstar services and maintains the kiosks and handles the coin, allowing SECU employees to assist members rather than bagging coin or maintaining kiosks. Consumers Come Clean In Honeywell Survey — Cleanliness And Hygiene Top Priority When Choosing Flights, Hotels: A new online survey by Charlotte-based Honeywell (NYSE: HON) finds travelers are placing an increased focus on cleanliness and hygiene when selecting which airlines to fly and which hotels to book. Although cost also remains a top motivator in travel decisions, the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted travelers’ focus toward safety as they make travel decisions. Among all survey participants who have traveled since March, roughly 6 in 10 of those who traveled by plane gave positive ratings to the cleanliness and safety procedures at the airport (61%) and in flight (58%), and a majority of survey participants who traveled by any means indicated a positive cleanliness and safety experience with lodging (68%).
