SOUTHPORT – Dosher Memorial Hospital has appointed Scott Passingham, MPT, to the role of Manager of Therapy Services. Scott received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in May, 2000 and has been a part of the Therapy team at Dosher since April, 2006. In his new role, Scott will oversee all Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech services at Dosher.
“Scott’s investment in the successful outcomes of his patients and his commitment to the success of the Dosher Therapy team has proven that he will bring great value as a manager,” said Lynda Stanley, President of Dosher Memorial Hospital and Foundation.
“Scott has been an asset to the Dosher Therapy Department for the last fifteen years,” said Dosher CEO and CMO Dr. Brad Hilaman. “I have every confidence that he will provide insights and innovation to the Therapy Team that will enable this area of our organization to evolve in ways that can meet the changing needs of our patients.”
Scott has three children and resides in Sneads Ferry, NC with his wife and family.
Dosher is an independent critical access hospital located in Southport, North Carolina which operates a network of medical and surgical services in the Smithville Township area. Dosher operates six primary care clinics in southern Brunswick County, as well as a medical clinic on Bald Head Island open seasonally, a Convenient Care, a general surgery practice, and a women’s health clinic.
