Frank Williams

Cape Fear Business Roundtable is the intersection of several of Frank's passions: communication and storytelling (hence why he a public relations professional and an author), small businesses, and promoting southeastern North Carolina.

He understands that small businesses are (or at least should be) the backbone of our economy, and he's excited to showcase businesses in southeastern North Carolina through this podcast.

Frank is a Brunswick County native and 1988 graduate of North Brunswick High School in Leland. 

He attended N.C. State University, where he earned a degree in Communication. After graduating from NCSU, Frank lived in Raleigh for a number of years before moving home to Brunswick County in December 2008.

Frank is President & CEO of Pioneer Strategies, a public relations and strategic communication firm he founded in August 2001. Additionally, he and his wife, Lori, co-own Pioneer Specialties, a promotional products distributorship they launched in 2019.

Frank is also the self-published author of two political thriller novels, After the Republic and Convergence, and is slowly working on the third book in the series.

Through Pioneer Strategies and Pioneer Specialties, Frank is a member of the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, the Southport-Oak Island Chamber of Commerce, and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) North Carolina Leadership Council and previously served on the Brunswick Community College Small Business Center Advisory Committee.
